A body
representing the interests of businesses in Calne and
it's surrounding areas has been evident in the area
for over three decades. Throughout our history, the
intentions of the Chamber have remained the same: to
look after the interests of its members.
Our
membership includes manufacturers, service organisations,
professionals and retailers. We are represented
on a number of local bodies and maintain close liaisons
with the Town, District and County Councils. The
Chamber is also part of the Wessex Chambers of Commerce
providing links with other Chambers of Commerce in the
area.

The
Chamber holds regular lunch meetings where members can
hear from prominent speakers and meet fellow members
in an informal atmosphere to discuss problems of common
interest. These lunches also provide an opportunity
for business networking and for new companies to gain
a foothold in the local market.
A regular
newsletter keeps members in touch with Chamber matters
as well as news and information on it's members activities.
The Chamber also organises members evenings - quizzes,
sports events etc. for members to meet up in a more
informal and relaxed atmosphere.
