Membership
to the Calne Chamber of Commerce costs £65 per year
and is open to all businesses based in and around the
Calne area.

newsletter which helps keep members in touch with association
matters and with local events and activities.

opportunities within the Chamber are a great way to
promote your company’s commitment to the business community.
Chambers
of Commerce exist throughout the world and a recent
study revealed that membership in a local chamber of
commerce can significantly boost a business’s image
among consumers, as well as among other businesses.
The study found positive perceptions of chamber members
in a number of areas, including overall favourability,
consumer awareness and reputation, and likelihood of
future patronage.
The
Calne Chamber is featured in Wessex In Business, the
monthly publication of the Wessex Association of Chambers
of Commerce. This is issued to over 120,000 businesses
in the county along with being accessible via the Internet.
Members are welcome to provide editorial content at
no cost subject to the editors decision and space availability.
Unless
requested otherwise, all members also receive a free
listing on our online members directory, where they
can offer discounted services or incentives to other
Chamber members thus resulting in improved local trade.
Recent analysis has shown that the Chamber's website
is regularly referenced and indexed by the main search
engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. It has
been seen that prospective customers have entered the
business name of a Chamber member into one of these
search engines and as a result they have been redirected
to the business' listing on our Members Directory from
where they have been able to find information on how
to contact the business and their location.
